Todd Graham is a classless person. Anyone who can make a “gut-wrenching decision” should be able to appear in front of his team and announce it. I wouldn’t break up with a girl with a text message. Nor would I reschedule a meeting with a co-worker without at least picking up the phone and talking.

Good luck with Graham ASU. You will definitely need it.

If I were a Colts fan I’d be furious. They built a house of cards around one player. As we’ve seen especially this season, key players go down all the time. What kind of franchise is that?

Sure they should draft Luck, but I don’t buy into him being an instant NFL starter. (He won’t be trade bait at the price to be paid.)

I think they should draft Luck if they have the chance, not only do you get the chance to groom the quarterback but you give him the 3 years he needs. Rodgers needed 3 years to get ready for prime time and he is excelling. It is hard to grab a franchise QB so they should because of insurance or trade bait.

Laws should be toughened to ensure that the good old boys — in the church, sports, business — who conspire to cover up these situations should face the possibility of hard time. Paterno’s resignation tactic was shameful, a self-imposed sanction with no teeth. Good for the trustees. Now the law needs to get busy.
